Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about Cloud Migrator.
Cloud Migrator is a web-based tool that lets you move files between cloud storage providers like AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, and Google Cloud Storage. It provides a simple UI with real-time progress tracking, automatic retries, and full audit logs.
Cloud Migrator currently supports AWS S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2, and Google Cloud Storage. You can migrate files between any combination of these providers.
Cloud Migrator offers a free tier for getting started. You can create an account and begin migrating files at no cost. Usage limits and premium features may apply for larger migrations.
Your cloud provider credentials (API keys, access keys, service account keys) are encrypted at rest and only used to execute migrations you initiate. You can delete stored credentials at any time. We recommend using scoped credentials with minimum necessary permissions.
Yes. Data flows directly between cloud providers over encrypted connections. Cloud Migrator does not store the contents of your files — it only logs metadata like file names, sizes, and transfer status for audit purposes.
Cloud Migrator automatically retries failed file transfers. If issues persist, you can view detailed error logs, fix the issue, and retry the entire migration or just the failed files with a single click.
Cloud Migrator supports files of any size. Large files are automatically split using multipart uploads for reliable transfer, even on unstable connections.
